Top Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw and famous Nigerian comedian, Akpororo on Tuesday, June 28, set the social media on fire as the Nollywood star fired the comedian for making use of her picture to promote his Sunday, July 8, show Akpororo vs Akpororo which is set to take place at the Eko Hotel and Suites. Kate Henshaw did not only state her disgust via the social media but she also contacted her lawyer to write a disclaimer to Akpororo and also giving him a 48-hours ultimatum to pull down the post and also apologize to her. She posted the picture of the disclaimer with the caption: “There is a thing called Respect in this industry. The sooner people recognise this. The better it will be for all. Do not take my smile and simplicity for stupidity! Notice of 48hrs is hereby given to the organizers to remove my name and image from all publicity associated with this event. Thank you.”
The report immediately got to Akpororo who felt bad about what Kate Henshaw said, took to his Instagram handle to post a picture of the Nollywood actress with the caption: “Good evening ma@k8henshaw Before anything else just want to say am very sorry ma for the misunderstanding, so sorry for not following up after our last conversation about my show (Akpororo vs Akpororo which is taking place at eko hotel and suites July 8th) when you were out of the country the other day, I will never disrespect you or even take you for granted for any reason, I respect you so much ma, please pardon me ma. Thanks and GOD bless you ma.
